Officer Jeff Hawkins has worked as a Portland police officer for ten years. He has been working in the directed patrol unit and has extensive experience in the Old Port as a patrol officer and working foot beats. He worked on the department’s Special Reaction Team for 7 years and has always served on the color guard.
He is an extensive world traveler and has hiked Machu Picchu in Peru, lived overseas and continues to spend his free time traveling to new places.
Before working at the department as an officer, he worked as a process server - a job where he learned the city very thoroughly.
